This role will provide an essential service for external and internal users through the sales of images and reproduction rights to private, academic and commercial customers. You will have to balance the sometimes conflicting objectives of income generation with providing care and access to the Museums collection ever growing image resources. 

That will include processing enquiries and requests for images and preparing and dispatching orders. On top if that, you'll assist in preparing quotes, maintaining the website and responding to researchers. You will work with the Image Sales team and be part of the wider commercial team which includes Photographic Studio, Publishing & Brand licensing.

Experience of working with analogue and digital image file formats is essential coupled with the ability to prioritise and successfully negotiate. Knowledge of copyright, Intellectual Property Rights issues, Adobe Photoshop and MS Office is also key. First-rate communication skills are essential plus a flexible approach, a good knowledge of and the ability to work well with colleagues across the team and the museum.
