Bridgeman Images press release, 28 November, 2016.

Bridgeman Images is proud and excited to have won the tender for the exclusive representation of the British Library content in the UK. Bridgeman Images has worked for the British Library for many years across all our offices and we are delighted to have been appointed for all commercial and editorial licensing with the exception of branded products and scholarly uses which will remain with the British Library. We will make a joint announcement to all our clients with the British Library when we make their full collection available online in January.

As one of the world’s leading distributors of fine art, cultural and historical media for reproduction, Bridgeman Images won the tender against a number of licensing companies by clearly demonstrating superior experience and accomplishments in the world in licensing for over 44 years.

The agreement to represent all image licensing for the British Library comes into effect from 01/01/2017. All image licensing after this date must be directed through to Bridgeman Images.

Please direct any images enquiries to uksales@bridgemanimages.com.
