April highlights from Nature Picture Library

More than 3000 new images were added to the Nature Picture Library site in the last month. Highlights include Maxime Aliaga’s work on orangutan behaviour and conservation, lots of European wildlife with a strong focus on the Nordic countries, dramatic aerial landscape images, strong macro coverage on insects, fungi and slime moulds, and coverage from Bruno D’Amicis of the intriguing world of Ethiopia’s sacred forests.
