BAPLA New Membership for Freelancers Launched

BAPLA are thrilled to introduce our new membership for all freelancers. Open to Freelance Picture Editors, Picture Researchers, Picture Buyers and other similar roles working within licensing, syndication and picture library industries.

Over the years we have had numerous requests from freelancer Picture Researchers and Buyers to launch a membership that would allow individuals to become BAPLA members. We have listened and worked hard to bring this to life.

Huge thanks to BAPLA board members, Yvonne Aldsworth – IDS a FADEL Company,  Beatriz Waters – British Museum Images and Nicola Corbett – Getty Images, who have been instrumental in the development of this new membership.

We are excited to expand our representation to include those members who are closely linked to our industry who work with image libraries, agencies and photographers.

Freelance BAPLA members will be listed on our website in the Media Researchers section
