Bridgeman Images is delighted to announce their recent representation of the newly refurbished National Gallery of Ireland.

Lady writing a letter with her Maid, c.1670 (oil on canvas) by Vermeer, Jan (Johannes) (1632-75) © National Gallery of Ireland, Dublin, Ireland The gallery holds masterpieces from artists in Ireland and worldwide, including Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Ruisdael, Vermeer, Gainsborough, Goya, Monet, Gris, Picasso, Jack B. Yeats, John Lavery, Roderic O’Conor and Daniel Maclise

From 17th June, the gallery will also present the exhibition Vermeer and the Masters of Genre Painting: Inspiration and Rivalry.

“We anticipate many visitors from Ireland and abroad  to view our new presentation of the permanent collection and attend our exciting programme of exhibitions and public events. The refurbishment project has been a great success. This project begins a vibrant new chapter in the Gallery’s future.”
