Introducing Figurestock

The addition of a good figure can create drama, mystery, movement and excitement, or bring characters from a book to life. Figurestock was created by a book cover designer and photographer to help find your perfect hero, heroine, villain or victim.

Figurestock is a brand new, out-of-the-box collection of original and exclusive commercial images designed with publishing in mind. Perfect for book covers and marketing campaigns, images are design led and shot on white backgrounds to help make them quick & easy to work with and comp into any background to create that perfect image.

The images are highly stylised and atmospheric, ranging from modern crime/fiction to period figures. Some of the figures are posed as if they are doing something: climbing or descending steps, resting their hands on a balustrade, jumping, running or fighting. These figures are designed to go straight into a background image or can be mixed with others. There are also multiple images of characters in different poses, shot from different angles, perfect for using on backlist titles.

Figurestock.com is clean and simple. You can browse and download good size watermarked images for temporary use in compositions. On the galleries page you can browse image categories such as: gender, silhouettes, perspective, profile, or genres.

Figurestock believe in trying to keep things simple, so there are only two prices defined by the licence type. All the images are available to licence as both Royalty Free and Rights Managed until purchased. The first licencee sets the ongoing licence for that image.

Images can be purchased instantly by credit card. But corporate accounts are available for known publishers. Once their account is set up, they can instantly download hi-res files and be invoiced at a later date when usage is confirmed.

All images are carefully edited, model-released and available to licence.

New images will be added every month.
