Mary Evans Picture Library: Colouring The Past

Mary Evans Picture Library have  recently injected a boost of colour into over 8000 of their black and white historical images by utilising AI.

The sensitive results are impressive and have lifted some of these images to a new level of immediacy. Have a browse through this edited selection to see some lovely examples of the technology at work.
