Nature Picture Library: Celebrating the Colours of Autumn

Autumn is a season of shifting changes in the natural world, as days shorten in the northern hemisphere, leaves change colour and fall, and windy spells and squally showers alternate with days of golden sunlight.

Wildlife is on the move, stocking up for the winter ahead, moving south to warmer climes and preparing for hibernation.
