Caribbean Sea.Nature Picture Library are delighted to announce that Alex Mustard has been awarded the MBE for services to underwater photography in the Queen’s birthday honours list.

To celebrate this excellent news, NPL have created a new gallery of his work including many of his most popular and classic images, as well as more recent material. They hold more than 2500 images by Alex covering underwater subjects worldwide and you can view the full selection here.

Alex is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading underwater photographers. He has authored more than 500 magazine articles and several books, with many successes in photographic competitions, including the main award in the 2013 GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
