New unique NPL collection – Meet Your Neighbours

Over the last 4 years, Nature Picture Library have been building up a new and unique image collection called Meet Your Neighbours. This project was the brainchild of NPL photographers Niall Benvie and Clay Bolt, and now has a team of more than 70 contributors across the world documenting the animals and plants they find close to their own home. Meet Your Neighbours images have an instantly recognisable look, as each subject is photographed on location in a field studio, according to a precise and consistent technical brief. A brilliantly-lit white background removes the context, encouraging appreciation of the subject as an individual rather than a species.
