New appointment – Steve Lake has joined Capture as Head of Managed Services

Blue
Capture press release.

We are delighted to announce that Steve Lake has joined the Capture team as Head of Managed Services. Steve will be responsible for leading and developing Capture’s established Managed Services team.

Steve has a wealth of experience within the picture industry. His previous roles include Chairman of BAPLA (British Association of Picture Libraries and Agencies) – the UK’s most important picture industry body; and Library Manager for 4 Corners Images, which specialises in high quality travel stock photography.  He has also worked for Aviation Images, Impact Photos and Rex Features.

Steve considers his greatest professional achievement to be sourcing, securing and selling the image of the French Concorde in flames during take-off at Charles de Gaulle airport – used on multiple front covers including the Daily Mirror, Daily Mail and Newsweek, all done from a rented room with one phone and one computer, six months after starting up his own agency!

I am very pleased indeed to announce Steve’s senior appointment to Capture. Steve brings considerable commercial and licensing experience to the company and he will lead the Managed Collections team to build this important and exciting division of the company. Please join me in welcoming Steve to Capture.” – Abbie Enock, CEO, Capture.
