Human Expertise in the Age of AI: Preserving Creativity and Collaboration in the Image Industry

Join us for a forward-thinking exploration of intellectual property rights and the evolving role of generative AI in reshaping of the image licensing industry.

While AI is transforming many aspects of creativity and licensing, this event will highlight the critical role of human expertise, particularly in the use of storytelling and how we might re-imagine a more collaborative future. Industry leaders, legal experts, and AI innovators will discuss how to balance AI-driven innovation with the irreplaceable value of human knowledge. How do we continue to preserve the vital hands-on skills developed through direct experience of working with archives, stock images and a deep understanding of content which will continue to add value to the industry long after the novelty of AI fades? In this event we will look at the ways in which we can leverage AI while maintaining the essential human touch that drives creativity, authenticity and respect for intellectual property.

Attendees will gain insights into how generative AI can support the work of creators and rights holders, ensuring that copyright remains a cornerstone of the industry in this evolving digital landscape.

Whether you're a creative professional, a rights holder, a copyright expert,  a picture researcher or an AI enthusiast, this event offers valuable insights into strategies to help you navigate and influence the evolving AI landscape.
