International in coverage, the British Architectural Library at the Royal Institute of British Architects is the UK’s most comprehensive visual resource for architecture.

It also contains material on related subjects such as interior design, topography, construction and applied arts.

Its 1.5 million photographs include archives of photographers Edwin Smith, Dell and Wainwright and Henk Snoek as well as the Architectural Press, publisher of the Architectural Review and Architects’ Journal.

Its 700,000 drawings feature architects as diverse as Andrea Palladio, Sir Edwin Lutyens and Erno Goldfinger. It also has outstanding collections of engravings and portraits.
