National Museums Scotland Picture Library

The Picture Library of National Museums Scotland holds a wealth of material from five museums in Scotland: National Museum of Scotland, National War Museum, National Museum of Flight, National Museum of Rural Life and the National Museum of Costume.

Picture research is undertaken quickly and efficiently and any queries large or small are welcomed.

We currently hold 40,000 images from our collection of over 3,000,000 objects, and new photography can be undertaken.
