A versatile picture editor, researcher and producer working across editorial and commercial sectors with a diverse background in arts, current affairs, entertainment, music, sports & specially, travel photography. Combining a keen aesthetic sense and brand awareness, Marta strives to produce the strongest visual aspect to effectively deliver a meaningful message. As a creative professional Marta has built excellent international relationships with creative agencies, photographers, designers, illustrators and video producers. Her roots in the editorial business have enabled her to develop skills as a passionate producer who can deliver print and digital projects on time and to budget, whilst always thinking about the larger story being conveyed.
Marta has extensive experience of commissioning, editing, licensing, researching and negotiating within the global magazines, books and newspaper industries – including Dorling Kindersley Books, DK Eyewitness, Michelin Green Guides, Bradt Guides, Rough Guides, Demotix (Corbis Images), Metro.co.uk and most recently The Culture Trip.
Currently based in Madrid (Spain) Marta is also available to travel and work remotely for collaborations. She holds a University degree in Library Science and Information Management and a Masters in Graphic Design and International Cooperation & Cultural Management, and is fluent in English, Italian & Spanish languages.
