Touching on fair use in relation to AI generated Images and UK copyright laws in relation to publishing in the US.

In this webinar we will provide a broad overview of intellectual property rights, with a particular focus on the complexities of copyright in today's world.

We will broadly cover essential topics such as copyright ownership, contractual language, moral rights, and copyright exceptions, and explain how these concepts apply in practice.

We are thrilled to announce that we will be joined by Daniel Crate, from Briffa, an expert in the field of intellectual property law who will share his valuable insights and expertise.

Daniel will discuss the opportunities and challenges presented by AI-generated images, as well as the critical importance of understanding fair use in relation to this. As the use of AI-generated content becomes more widespread, it is crucial to understand the boundaries of fair use and the impact it has on copyright law.

Daniel will also touch on licencing agreements when dealing specifically with the United States for publishing or editorial purposes. The U.S. has unique laws and regulations regarding intellectual property and it is important to understand them in order to effectively protect your copyright.

Daniel's expertise and insights will shed light on the intricacies of copyright law in today's rapidly evolving technological and legal landscape.

We hope by the end of this webinar you will have a better grasp of how to navigate the complexities of copyright in the digital age and understand the nuances of licencing intellectual property to the U.S. for publishing. This session will be an invaluable resource for anyone looking to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in copyright law and protect their intellectual property effectively.
