Copyright: a brief overview and update with Howard Kennedy LLP

BAPLA have partnered with Robert Lands, Partner, Head of IP & Commercial at Howard Kennedy LLP to deliver a talk on copyright.
Robert specialises in intellectual property (advisory, commercial and contentious) and related information technology and media work including data protection (data privacy), freedom of information, advertising and sales promotion.
Robert advises on copyright, design rights, trade marks, patents, know-how and trade secrets, database rights, moral rights and all forms of registered and unregistered IPR, with particular focus on creative industries.
‘Copyright: a brief overview and update’ will cover topics such as:
- What is copyright?
- How long does it last?
- What is copyright infringement and what isn’t?
- How is copyright exploited commercially?
- New changes to copyright law.
The event will take place at the amazing Howard Kennedy event space in London Bridge which boasts fantastic views of The City and River Thames.
There will be tea & coffee on arrival and drinks after the talk.
