As we embark on a challenging New Year in 2021, we start on a positive note by celebrating our photographers’ successes in the 2020 photo competitions.

2020 was certainly a strange year, but against the odds, most of the major international photo competitions went ahead, and our photographers were successful in gaining a number of awards. The most notable success was Sergey Gorshkov winning the main prize in the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, for his image above. Other photographers achieving category wins in 2020 were Ripan Biswas, Ben Cranke, Edwin Giesbers, Jo-Anne McArthur, Graham Eaton and Pal Hermansen.

You can read all about our 2020 winners in our 2020 Competition Winners blog, and we’ve also created a new gallery featuring all the winners, runners-up and commended images.
