Mary Evans Picture Library – Angela Lansbury 1925 – 2022, Gallery

Dame Angela Lansbury, the screen legend best known for starring role as Jessica Fletcher in Murder She Wrote and as the voice behind Mrs Potts in Disney’s 1991 musical, Beauty and The Beast, died at her home in Los Angeles on Tuesday October 11.

Lansbury had a stellar career both on the stage and in film, which spanned over eight decades. She was one of the last surviving stars of the Golden Age of Hollywood. Mary Evans Picture Library have put together a wonderful collection of images of Angela Lansbury which can be viewed here.
