September Highlights from Nature Picture Library

Eroded sandstone rock formations with Dromedary camels (Camelus dromedarius) grazing on new grass after desert rains. Ennedi Natural And Cultural Reserve, UNESCO World Heritage Site, Chad. September 2019.

Our photographers have sent us interesting images from all corners of the globe this month. Bruno D’Amicis has covered Cuba, Enrique Lopez-Tapia has returned from Chad, and we have a wealth of new images from Australia, Africa, South America and, not least, the oceans of the world from Brandon Cole.

And closer to home, we have lots of new British wildlife and landscapes with strong contributions from Oscar Dewhurst, Ross Hoddinott and Andy Rouse.

You can read all the stories behind the images in our September highlights blog, or browse a wider gallery here.

You can also order prints and other items featuring your favourite images from our prints site.
